We had an awesome photo shoot with Amber! It was hard to snag this girl since she works a couple jobs, goes to school, spends countless hours at her church. Oh yeah, she's a drum major, too. And I know I'm forgetting a couple things. I also got the pleasure to meet her parents. It's cool enough when your clients are awesome. But when they're families are sweet, too. It makes me love my job even more. Thanks Amber for picking such a cool location! If it wasn't hours away I'd go there for every shoot!
About half way through the shoot I finally ask why the whole town smells like syrup. Of course! We were in Cereal City, USA. And if you're not familiar with the term, we were on the location of Kelloggs in Battle Creek, Michigan. Yes. Home to Tony the tiger, Snap, Crackle, AND Pop. I don't know how you can live there and not be hungry all the time. The whole city smelled like baking cookies!
